How recent is your CVS snapshot? I'm using the newly introduced
PyHeapTypeObject with Python 2.3 to get rid of a seperate datastructure
for storing additional data for the class proxies. This was added very
recently (I noticed it in the previous python-dev summary).
I currently don't have problems compiling the bridge (after earlier
today fixing some stupid errors that broke Python 2.2 builds).
