Your suggestion sounds great -- enable creation of atom selections based
on map value. Here is a further refinement:
select (prot and map1 < 1)
select (prot and map1 1 3)
select (prot and map1 >=3D 3)
select (prot and map1 =3D 5)
Unfortunately, the code isn't yet written, but it won't take much
