Take a look on the following table: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-port64.html . If you can change code: you can move the code to cpp file and to use std::numeric_limits If you can't : a quick work around could be to redefine the ULONG_MAX value Let me know, if you need help with the second solution.
