    The problem looks like a badly formatted environment variable. The variable seemed to have an embedded \n so it got treated as two variables. The first was truncated and the second didn't have an =.

    Your diagnostic is correct, PyCmd cannot handle env vars with multi-line values -- thanks for the report!

    I thought that this wasn't even possible, and after a few attempts I still can't find a way to set such a variable. How did you do it?
