I am new to milling and pycam but it seems like one should be able to plunge slower than the horizontal feed rate because the centre of the tool is moving slower than its edge and also because the chips have less freedom to escape. I am milling dibond in one pass so the plunge is all the way through.

Therefore it would be nice to have an extra field on the tool speed pane.
