Hi, i use Python 2.3.4, and py2exe 0.5.4. I did a setup.py:

---------------------------------------------------------

#setup.py

from distutils.core import setup

import py2exe

setup(console = [{"script": "GerAstro.py", "icon_resources": [(1, "GerAstro.ico")]}])

options = { 'py2exe': { 'packages': 'encodings' } }

---------------------------------------------------------

It works, but I use cp1252 encoding in my script. It works fine in Python shell, but after compiled its all wrong…

I receive wrong graphical accentuation (I use , , etc… brazillian portuguese)

Other problem, when compiling I receive this message:

UnicodeDecodeError: ‘ascii’ codec can’t decode byte 0xe1 in position 54: ordinal not in range(128)

What’s that?
