Sorry for the delay in my reply, -I have been waiting for the digest to get mailed out (still waiting),
so that I could get your email addresses, and copy you directly on the reply.

Thanks Werner and Daniel for your help.
Eliminating those 2 DLLs did the trick, but I don't understand why.
Typically, not including DLLs would cause a problem ;-)

I hate to beat a dead horse, but it appears that this issue has surfaced again.
"MemoryLoadLibrary failed during win32file.pyd"

Googling for that text shows references to Python 2.5 and Pywin32 Build 212/213,
but nothing newer than that. I don't know what the final outcome of this issue is.

I'm building a Python exe on Windows 7  Pro, 32-bit, using Python 2.7.6,
PyWin32 Build 218, and Py2exe 0.6.9.0

I've run the vcredist_x86.exe on the target system, where the program build with Py2exe
is installed.
was created before Windows 7. Do I need a different version of the VC redistributable for use on Windows 7?

I sure could use some help with this.

From the google results, it sure seems as though this issue was put to bed years ago, but I'm running into it now.

thanks
