Fabrizio,

are you sure your py2exe version perfectly matches your python version?

"set" was just included at 2.3; and put into core at 2.4; so... if you have 2.2, it will not work.

I have just installed py2exe and wanted to try it with a simple program.
I wrote this:

2plus2.py:

print 2+2

Then I wanted to compile this program into an exe file, so following the
instructions of the web site i wrote:

setup2plus2.py:

from distutils.core import setup
import py2exe

setup(console=["2plus2.py"])

Both files are in the same directory. From the command line I executed

C:\python>python setup2plus2.py py2exe

What's wrong? Thanks in advance.
