My bad - when you use XRCed your GUI is defined in the data file <name>.xrc. So this file needs to be copied over with everything else, and this is the  part I missed. Sorry for the confusion.

Can anyone give me any ideas about what I need to do to create a setup

created with XRCed once it's compiled?

Never used XRC, also I am tempted by the concept.
