Actually, scratch that - if a log was written by py2exe it would have displayed a message box, so I doubt you will find a log anywhere.  So you probably want to go the console route, or instrument your program to try and see what is going wrong…

If you are running on Vista, you may find the log file at "C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files" rather than directly in the "real" program files.  Otherwise, try temporarily creating a console version of your program and see if it generates any output.

I'm working on an aplication that uses wxpython and psycopg2.  The aplicaton runs well in python, and when I create the exe file there are no errors.
The problems is when I run the exe nothing happens, no execution, and no errors.  There is no log file either.  I tried it the simple way, only including the main script in the setup.  And I tried including the packages in the options like this:
It did not work, so I need some guidance.  I use python2.4 and postgresql 8.1.  I've googled a little and have not found any clue yet.

P.S.  I'm a spanish speaker and my english is medium.
