Using:
python 25
py2exe 0.6.6
kinterbasdb 3.2 that can be found here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=9913

The simple py script:
#--------------------------------------
import kinterbasdb

if __name__ == '__main__':
    print "Testing........"
The setup.py to build a single exe file
#----------------------------------------------------
from distutils.core import setup
import py2exe, sys

options = {"py2exe": {"compressed": 1,
                      "optimize": 2,
                      "bundle_files": 1,
                      'packages':['kinterbasdb'],
                      "excludes": ['Tkconstants', 'Tkinter', 'tcl'],
                      "includes": ['kinterbasdb.typeconv_backcompat']}}

setup(name='PalletConveyorService',
      options = options,
      console = ["Test.py"],
      zipfile = None
      )
#---------------------------------------------------------

The create exefile crashes with access violation. It is the import of kinterbasdb that fails.
If it is build without bundle_files it works.

Someone that got an idea.
