I'm not sure what you are getting at here. It doesn't sound like the problems I have been having. They key point here is that it *only does it with certain machines*. The models I have listed. I have about 18 machines it worked on just fine, but those 4 gave me trouble. All machines on my network use the same exact image. It sounds to me that if what you are intimating is true EVERY machine would be having these problems. This is not the case. Besides, they keyboard was *completely dead*... I don't see how the password file fits into this at all...
