Maybe you're not booting a Pentium ?
If you have a disk (with linux, well linux is not a requirement but I don't know how to do this with other OS) in a computer like the one you're trying to boot install the PXES kernel and initrd and configure LILO and you will be able to boot PXES from disk.
Look for in a previous message in the list. I've explained how to do it.

After selecting it in pxesconfig you build a NBI image (i.e:
pxes-0.5.nbi).
You need to specify this image in the DHCP and this image should be
accessible via TFTP. Right ?
host pxes1 {
hardware ethernet 0:50:da:22:36:2a;
fixed-address 10.5.30.243;
filename "/pxes/pxes-0.5.nbi";
}

But perhaps you can send me more info (messages) that etherboot send
before rebooting (pressing Scroll-Lock may help).

Yes NBI is supported.
You have to install mknbi RPM from Etherboot.sourceforge.net.
URL:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/etherboot/mknbi-1.2-8.noarch.rpm
This is not included in the dependencies beacuse it's not needed if
you're not going to use Etherboot.
Good luck.

Everything is fine now... I had to reinstall in the right

Now .... I have it running and it compiles ok... but when I
specify
to
make nbi file I notice it isn't to be found. Is nbi support built
in
this vers?

It seems OK.
Have you issued the locate command ?

If you're not using the same computer where you build the
images
as a
TFTP/DHCP server you can safely use '--nodeps' in RPM install.
The Glade-Perl and Gtk-Perl I've sent you were taken from a
RH7.3
installation where I test PXES.
Can you tell me what '*locate Gtk.pm*' returns ?
And '*rpm -qi pxesconfig pxes-base*' ?

Also ... one or two very important things I forgot to tell
you.... I
chose not to install tftp and dhcp on redhat, already have
dhcp
and
tftp
runnin on win2k server. Will that break the initial start of
program?
