#75 Have pd save window stacking order

I don't know if this is even possible, but it would be nice if a patch is saved with subpatches open for the stacking order to be preserved. I.e. if a subpatch is 'on top' of the containing patch when saved, it would be nice for it to also be on top when re-loaded. I suspect that this is probably impossible due to pd not knowing the stacking order of its windows or having any control over it...

  • I think this might be possible with [sys_gui] and [window_name], but also, there might need to be some work done on [window_name] for it to work properly. [tot] probably can do it

    Basically, if you find how to do it with Tcl/Tk, then translate it to [tot] style.

    Sure, thanks. However, for me it would be good to have a vanilla solution. I think preserving stacking order on save is the *right* behaviour. I think currently they are saved in creation order.
