No

Pd Version: 0.43.4-extended
Tcl Version: 8.5.13
Windows 8 Pro
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Extreme CPU X9650 @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
8.00 GB installed RAM
64-bit operating system x64-based processor

I'm unable to move any objects I put on screen. I'm in edit mode, but the program won't allow me to move any objects using my mouse. I can outline the object and move it using the arrow keys on the keyboard, but can't drag it with the mouse. I tried Edit > Preferences > Restore to Defaults and that didn't fix the problem.

i cant move any objects in Pd after PC sleep mode

  • I just got this problem on OSX 10.9, Macbook Pro, Pd-extended 43.4 Tcl 8.5.11 64-bit build. It happened quite suddenly: everything was working fine and then next time I opened pd I couldn't move objects with the mouse (but could with selection + arrow keys). I could select objects and text within object boxes

Edit: this was only an issue when I didn't have an audio input or output selected. I had changed audio interfaces.
    thank goodness

Same problem. The user above me gave me the solution: make sure you have your audio in/ouput configured correctly. For whatever reason this works for me. MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8
