Well, there are other ways of solving the problems I've been having with Rio Receivers, and it is a rather tangential use case for libupnp. If it's going to be a problem, or if no other libupnp users are going to want to add custom headers, it's not the end of the world if you revert the patch instead..? Perhaps keeping these sorts of quirks out of the generic libupnp code would, after all, be best. Maybe we (I) should hold off and see whether anyone else on this list wants the facility that the patch enabled. Peter |
