I am a new user of ptpd and I'am testing the performances and the accuracy.
To begin, I would like to use the tools in the folder /Tools.
I have installed octave and I can see the plot with the filter response.
now i would like to see the offset vs time, with the offset_stats.m scipt.
In the last mail, George V. Neville-Nei says we have to install R system; It's done, but how to work with it? to read the file with the offset….
The R scripts can be run standalone once you install R.
How do I get this logfiles?
with -f and -R ?
Do you want to know how to generate the log files? If that's what you're asking then you want the -f flag and if you're using a version that needs -D (CSV mode) then use that as well. The -R flag generates a quality file and for that I have not yet written any R scripts.
