The project doesn't evolve a lot any more; I consider it finished.  It's
certainly not "finished" in the sense that a lot more work could go into
it to support more things, or port it to other architectures, but what
is there works well so far.  I am now working on PyPy instead, which -
after three years of work - might soon give more results than Psyco
alone could.

Indeed, I suppose I should announce here that we just got our first
version of PyPy with included Psyco-like just-in-time specialization :-)
