I installed Proxy searcher on a 64bit Win 7 system.

When I try to start it an erro popup appears:

"Could not find a part of the path
    'C:\Users\thomas\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles"

and aborts the start. I guess Proxy Searcher needs somehow Firefox.

    Why?

As you may know Firefox can be started with a special, moved profiles folder which is NOT at the default place but e.g. at D.\browser\firefox\myprofiles\

So you should add a feature to proxy searcher to use profiles at non-default directories as well.

Hi, Proxy Searcher is trying to detect if you have installed Firefox (in order to show supported browser list). And it found in System Registry that you have one. Could you please give me details if you had installed Firefox? I am trying to understand this defect a few month, but without success :)

I didn't know about that, do you have links which explains details?

Ok, here is the cooking recipe:

    1.) create an empty folder (e.g. D:\foo\bar\blah\myprofile)
which should hold later your profile

2.) Call (from cmdline/CommandPrompt or from modified Shortcut):
    firefox.exe -profilemanager
    and click "Create Profile" button

3.) Choose a new individual profile name (e.g. Burd), follow the instructions and select the folder you just created in 1.

4.) Finally call Firefox with your personal files by starting firefox with
    firefox -P "Burd"
You can make this Profile default

    Thats it!

    Thanks for answer, Thomas!
Sorry but last couple of month I do not have time to work on ProxySearcher. I will fix your suggestion in the next release but don't know when I will have time for that.

    And answer to second post

    The IPtoCountry-list could be better

And can be worse :). Could you please clarify what you mean here? Thanks!
