I use proxool since version 0.4 and it works very well.
With the new version, I have a problem. If I update a
table entry, the change is inserted in the DB, but not
permanently written. If I stop my application and
restart it, the update was not made. What can I do?
I use the default properties to init proxool.

Boris, sorry for the delay in response.

This sounds like a transaction problem. I guess you are
setting autoCommit to false and then not calling commit()
    before closing the connection?

As of Proxool 0.5, all connections are "reset" when they are
closed so that they are in a stable state for the next user.
This includes setting autoCommit back to true. Depending on
your JDBC driver this may cause a rollback or a commit. It
would be wise to make that decision explicitly yourself.

I hope this solves your problem. Let me know if it does.

    Good luck,
    Bill

Hmm, I have autoCommit on. I use an m$-access Database. I
have no idea, where the error is.

Can you send me some logs? It would be helpful if you have
debugging switched on (that is done in your logging
configuration - let me know if you need help with that; we
need to add some logging help to the web site, but if you
can use Log4J you should be able to find out all you need
from their web site). If you can isolate a test that just
does one update that would also be helpful. I think it must
be something to do with the new connection reset feature.
I'm not aware of anyone else using Proxool 0.5 to update an
Access DB although we have done tests with other databases
    successfully.

Have you resolved this yet, Boris?
