#16 [r252] TCP/IP stats incorrect: always at 0B/s

using Revision 252 from SVN

"Sent/sec" and "Rec/Sec" fields in process properties dialog, tab "TCP/IP" show 0B/s even though the process is transfering data. Maybe it needs super privileges to get this info?

    You need root permissions to see TCP/IP performance. I will add some means to make that more clear.

    Since you should not run GUI applications with super privileges you need some kind of backend to manage those privileges. Yumex, synaptic, PackageKit, gnome-log-viewer, … do that.

    Now using pkexec as sudo frontend for running tcpdump as root.
