#7 BioMart sql error

Hello, we ran the SQL script for PRIDE biomart, and found that the script gives an error in recent versions of MySql (5.0)

CREATE TABLE pride_mart_1.pride__peptideident__main ( ...

and

CREATE TABLE pride_mart_1.pride__proteinident__main ( ...

both give an error when declaring eg.

protein_score DECIMAL(10,20)

the (internal MySql error)

1427 (42000), for float(M,D), double(M,D) or decimal(M,D), M must be >= D

Possibly a swap of the numbers?

Sorry about this problem, you are indeed correct in suggesting that the precision and scale have been inverted, so should be DECIMAL(20,10).

I think we spotted this error a while back, but it has clearly not been committed in the latest download version. (We are close to releasing a new version by the way, which is MUCH easier to configure (the core jar does not need to be configured, and the web application configuration is all in one file)). The new version also manages much larger XML files and has an improved reporting interface - we will post a message to the mailing list when this is released and put a news item on the PRIDE home page.
