For the record, I am running Windows XP Home SP2 along
with the latest stable version of CygWin as of today
along with the prc-tools installation as instructed by
http://prc-tools.sourceforge.net/install/cygwin.html
I have inspected the directory that palmdev-prep
complains about and the file is actually there. I can
even open it in VI from the cygwin prompt and read it.

I have searched google and haven't found anything that
solves this problem. Nothing on Usenet could be found.
Here are the commands and their output:

$ mount -tf "C:\PalmDev" /PalmDev
$ palmdev-prep
Checking SDKs in /PalmDev
sdk-5r4 headers in 'include', libraries in 'lib'
sdk-6.1 INVALID -- no headers

When GCC is given no -palmos options, SDK '5r4' will be
used by default

Writing SDK details to configuration files...
palmdev-prep: warning: can't open
'/PalmDev/sdk-5r4/include/Core/CoreTraps.h': N
o such file or directory
...done

    This is a mostly harmless bug that was reported here:

    http://news.palmos.com/read/messages?id=168546

    and was fixed in revision 1.17 of utils.c quite some time ago. One day the
    fix may even make it out into a prc-tools release...
