Please note that PPCBoot (so far) does not contain any cod to deal with filesystems. It loads the kernel image from a raw partition. So usually you will have one or two SMALL partitions (1 MB or so) which you use to store your kernel images for PPCBoot. These partitions will not use any filesystem.
