No, you are right. 8xxrom 0.3.x had support for the (F)ADS boards. PPCBOOT will have this again, too, and soon I hope. The current version of PPCBOOT is a major rewrite of the old 8xxrom code, incomporating ideas from many other sources. The people in our team are working on TQ boards only, so this is the first - and right now the only - supported platform. I could have waited with the public announcement until more hardware platforms are available, but I decided to release as early as possible, hoping that others help, especially with different hardware. We are working right now on TFTP and BOOTP support for PPCBOOT - these are the very next features that will be available, followed by PCMCIA/IDE disk support. > My question: has TFTP really ever been added to 8xxrom (0.3.1) ? There was/is one version of 8xxrom which comes by the name of 0.3.1; it's by Kirk Haderlie <kha...@vi...>. I didn't put it on the CVS server because it did not really fit with other changes that went into 8xxrom by others - instead of speanding work on such an integration I went on for PPCBOOT 0.4.x. I'll send you a copy of Kirk's tarball in a separate message.
