I'm using a postfix-postfixadmin-dovecot-mysql-setup. As password scheme I use MD5. I would like to change it to SHA512 (I would prefer bcrypt(), but isn't supported by Debians libc) and found a How-To for converting them for dovecot auth in mysql (http://wiki2.dovecot.org/HowTo/ConvertPasswordSchemes).
I'm wondering whether this is supported by pfa? To make it work pfa should
be able to read passwords both stored in MD5 and in SHA512. There would be a converting period until every user logs in at least one time (in dovecot)
when an account is created in pfa or the password of an existing account is changed in pfa SHA512 should be used.
Did anybody convert password schemes successfully using a similar environment?
Thanks and best regards,
