i want to add "example.me" domain to my mailserver, but postfixadmin says that this domain isn`t valid because of the domain extension.
What can I do?
Thanks for help.
Either use a different domain - example.com,example.net etc
or edit config.inc.php and look for the option
And set it to be 'NO' instead of 'YES'.
I would have done if such a domain would have been free! But that was no longer the case.
Does this mean anything? Because I own this domain, and it also runs on my own nameservers.
Really? I'd be surprised if you could register/buy example.me - after all, if I do a whois lookup on it. it comes back with stuff like :
Domain Create Date:29-Apr-2008 17:53:02 UTC
Domain Last Updated Date:28-Jun-2008 20:50:09 UTC

Your best bet is to edit config.inc.php and change the value for emailcheck_resolve_domain so it's set to NO.
Is this domain resolvable using your nameserver? I'd guess not, and this already explains your problem ;-) (The .me extension shouldn't hurt.)
If you want to disable the nameserver check, see FAQ.TXT in the postfixadmin documentation.
BTW: Which version are you using? 2.3.3 (and IIRC all 2.3.x versions) display a detailed error message.
thanks for help!
I set $CONF to NO.
The reason was a problem with the nameserver.
