    I just tried restoring the quickstart 2.3.2 backup file via pg_restore. I am using a Postgres 8.2.4 database under Linux.

    When I attempt the restore using:
    [code:1:b0754f1b80]pg_restore -U mfgadmin -d mfg postbooks_quickstart.backup -v[/code:1:b0754f1b80]
    I get 3000+ errors.

    When I attempt to login to the system via the GUI, I get the following errors:
    [code:1:b0754f1b80] 2008-05-03_14:19:36.15205 ERROR:  function login() does not exist at character 8
    2008-05-03_14:19:36.15215 HINT:  No function matches the given name and argument types. You may need to add explicit type casts.
    2008-05-03_14:19:36.15218 STATEMENT:  SELECT login() AS usr_id,       CURRENT_USER AS user;[/code:1:b0754f1b80]

    Does anyone have any direction they might suggest?

    Thanks,
