If I understand what you say , we have to use a password who it hash''s is the real password, so (if I understand what you say) we have to change source code to have it.
In my opinion if we complicate hash or crypt of the real password (database password ) password in application it will be more difficult to find it, but to easy for developers still PostBooks is open source. so we can''t now deploy it in Production environment Hoping that users are not sufficiently experienced.
