I made a mistake when I updated to 0.22 because of incorrect info in instruction how to make backup. On webbpage
    http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=266477
it doesnt say that you must also backup the database in catalog "Documents and setting" (Window).

    Today the text is:
    1. BACK UP YOUR OLD INSTALLATION: POPFile makes this really easy, just copy the entire POPFile directory somewhere. You can then safely install POPFile v0.22.0 on top of your current installation; I just think a back up is a sensible precaution.

    • I'm sorry you had trouble.  Did you have a look at the wiki? http://popfile.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?HowTos/Backup seems to address the backups correctly, I believe.

I made a note of this on the wiki so we remember to update that text with information on the database in the next release.

      • Why is this information duplicated outside the wiki? That makes it harder to maintain and keep consistant.

Because that is the release notes for 0.22.2.  It makes sense to put it in there.
