Dear colleagues,

First, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Alberto Muņoz from Salamanca (Spain), and I'm starting with POESIA installation and (if succeeded) tests. I'm glad to meet you. I don't know if I have to suscribe to any mail list or this e-mail is enough to enter the group.

I'm trying to install POESIA under RH 8.0, and I've followed these steps:

- POESIA's latest version has been downloaded from the CVS.
The following programs, architectures and modules have been installed as quoted in Annex B. Installation guide:
- Java 2 SDK 1.5.1
- Netpbm 10.17
- GCC was already included in the distribution.

I've executed the ./configure script in /PoesiaSoft with no apparent problems.

The following modules have been included aswell:
- Ocaml-3.06
- Findlib-0.8.1
- xstr 0.2.1
- pcre 4.3
- pcre ocaml 5.02.1 (I didn't find the 5.02 TAR version, so I've installed it from an RPM).
- ocamlnet 0.96
- pxp 1.1.5
- equeue 1.2.3
- netclient
- zlib
- camlzip-1.0.1

(I've installed some packages needed by the filters but they're not relevant here).

After this, I've executed ./Configure.sh in /PoesiaSoft/PoesiaMonIcap succesfully.

But when I execute make, I receive, among others, the following answer:
dehtmlfilt.cmo urlist.cmo scorecache.cmo filterproc.cmo sources.cmo icapsrc.cmo msgsrc.cmo configsrc.cmo poesiamon

Of course, it's not compiled. I've been blocked with this a couple of days, reinstalling modules and testing diferent compiling options, but I always get stopped at the same point.

Could anyone of you help me or suggest me a possible solution?
Thank you very much in advance.

Greetings,

Alberto.
