Yes, I am interested in trying to come up with a good C++ mapping into JSON.  I'm a little sketchy on what the "right" way to design the thing would be, but I'll see if I can come up with something fairly elegant.

I am very much in favor of this. In fact, I have proposed something similar recently since we have the basic JSON support for DynamicAny now. If you are willing to give it a serious comprehensive shot, probably the best thing is to implement is a separate lib, put it in sandbox and eventually we may put it in Util or just release it standalone. If you want svn write access, email your sourceforge username to me or guys at appinf. I'm on the road (or, better to say air ;-) for the next week or so, and I think Guenter is too, but I'll be checking email periodically.
