HI !
Firstly I apologize because I'm not sure if this is in fact
a problem of the driver. The story:
I installed in a RH7 box a HP710c printer via printtool.
There wasn't any problem at first and the printer tests were
succesfull even in color. I kept on configurating the system
and after some days, the printer stopped working and, when the system is halted, fails to stop the lpd.
Know when I try to install a local printer with printtool I
lost comunication with the system, neither the keyboard, nor the mouse work. I can't install or edit the inslated printers and I was unable to solve the problem with the printcap file. The printtool utility became useless.
I hope you could give me some clue or a place to start. Might it be a daemon problem ? How can I reset the situation.
Well, thank you in advance and if you need some file or
data just ask me.
Please mail me to clopasto@cnea.gov.ar

seems to be a corrupted lp.o kernel module?

    not a pnm2ppa bug.
