I've been exploring Pmw.Blt, and it has great potential for my application.
Is Pmw.Blt (and Blt for that matter) being actively maintained? The Blt
dist. on SF is pretty old. Should I be getting the cvs dist?
I've got things running on WinXP and Mac OS X / fink. WinXP works
well. On OSX / fink, it runs, but like everything else on that
platform, it is slow.
I can't get it going on linux. I get the "::blt::graph command not
found" error. A search on this reveals that it's a common problem, but
I haven't found an answer. Presumably I have some setup or
configuration error. the blt demos under tcl work fine.
I'm trying to create a graph that has markers but no lines. I use:
symbol = 'circle',
color = "green",
label = "",
Acc'd to the docs, linewidth=0 should shut off the connecting lines, but
it doesn't. This happens on both of my platforms. I've also tried
trace="decreasing", with no luck. Any ideas?
Finally: my application: I'm building a GUI with an embedded graphics
canvas that I can modify in real time. As I've said, Pmw.Blt looks
pretty good. Anyone have any other possible options? I prefer to stay
with Tkinter, but I'll switch given a good reason. I've tried
matplotlib with the new TkAgg backend, and that can do it, but it seems
