-plte_len switch does not truncate palette if the input
file is a palette image with <=16 unique colours, has
bit depth of 4, and has 256 colours in the PLTE chunk
(see attachment).
There is no attached example. However, if the bit depth is
4, then the input file should not contain more than 16 entries
in its PLTE chunk. Pngcrush should be detecting this error
regardless of whether the -plte_len option is present.
