-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all. Great to see such positive changes in the pmapper project! I will now close the old pmapper list, and whan the svn will be available there will be no reasons, I think, to keep pmap as a separate project. Also, moving the licence to GPL is a very good thing. I typically try to reduce tools, also for the latest I took by default smaller buttons. A DHTML menu where one can put things not directly related to the navigation (like download, print) would also save some space. I would like to notice a problem that happens with firefox: when the map is loaded from the first time, the settings of defGroups in config.ini are just ignored. Depending of what you've set as default, when the map is loaded you see all the layer active or not active, indipendently of what you've set in defGroups. It's enough to change the visualization of layers clicking in the toc once to solve the problem. Using explorer this error doesn't happen. This error happens since version 2.0.0 (now i'm using the 3.0.0) After that i've made a code patch which solve the problem of the toolbar that is not entirely visible when the window is too small, just adding a scroll bar and modifing the size of the div where the toolbar is in. Would you like that i send this code to you? Finally, i've made a customization of the application for my project and i added some javascript and php code almost everywhere (some ajax functions, some buttons ... ) so my code is mixed whitin the code of pmapper itself. The problem is that when i upgrade files of pmapper sometimes i can lose my changes. It would be a good thing, for the future, if all this code, js and php, was contained in a separate folder loaded in addition to the files of pmapper. Tiziano Mischi |

Hi, if the map doesn't show up first I would look if the mapfile is correct. You can do that normally with http://name_of_your_server/cgi-bin/name_of_your_mapserver?map=path/to/your/mapfile&mode=map There could be several reasons and you have to find out whether the reason goes to mapserver, the mapfile or pmapper. try to see the log errors of apache... but i think that problem can be in config_xxx.ini maybe you have not the name of groups/layers to display in the map! look also to php_config for the declaration of categories and groups layers to display in the map see ya 2006/11/13, cristian78 <cri...@gm...>: > > > hi... > > I am new with pmapper, and in my project i can't watch the map. Hello, I have a problem with values returned by query by point containing single quotes: javascript:openHyperlink('Comuni', 'nome', 'Rocca de' Giorgi') this provokes a JS error. Experimenting, I found that it works when a kind of addslashes is added in pmjson.js line 94: rhtml += '<td><a href="javascript:openHyperlink(\'' + hypLinkL[0].replace('\'', '\\\'') + '\', \'' + hypLinkL[1].replace('\'', '\\\'') + '\', \'' + hypLinkL[2].replace('\'', '\\\'') + '\')">' + hypLinkL[3] + '</a></td>'; Regards. -- Alessandro Pasotti itOpen - "Open Solutions for the Net Age" w3: www.itopen.it Linux User# 167502 |

Hi, I try to start pmapper2.1.2 with my own data and I wonder where to put in the titles for my categories? In the demo application in php_config.php I found this: $categories['cat_admin'] = array("countries", "cities", "settlements", "cities_xylayer"); But I didn't found where to put the title "Administrative Data" of the Legend. as mentioned, prior to pmapper 3 just exchange the image files, or rename the 'buttons' directory and put the new directory there naming it 'button', the icon files including a Photoshop file are available at http://www.pmapper.net/gallery.shtml armin > In pmapper 3 you can set all as sayd Armin in > > php_config.php and you can choice which theme you want to use > > in pmapper 1.2 i overwrote images in the folder ..\images\buttons > > but maybe something can be done with .ini > > > > > in this folder you have the images: > pmapper-2.0.0\images\buttons > > 2006/11/15, Reinhard Keltermann <r.k...@we...>: > > > > Hello everybody, > > I would like how to change the theme/the icons of the toolbar in > p.mapper( > > 2.1). > > I saw screenshots with the much more colouerfull icons and I would like > to > > get this as well. > > In which file I can change this? > > Hoo can help please? > > Thank you! > > > > Reinhard > > _____________________________________________________________________ > > Der WEB.DE SmartSurfer hilft bis zu 70% Ihrer Onlinekosten zu sparen! > > http://smartsurfer.web.de/?mc=100071&distributionid=000000000066 > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Take Surveys. the solution with 'frame' was never really working since pmapper 2. So far, nobody seemed to miss it, though. The plans for pmapper 3 are to bring this back again. In pmapper 3 you can set all as sayd Armin in php_config.php and you can choice which theme you want to use in pmapper 1.2 i overwrote images in the folder ..\images\buttons but maybe something can be done with .ini in this folder you have the images: pmapper-2.0.0\images\buttons 2006/11/15, Reinhard Keltermann <r.k...@we...>: > > Hello everybody, > I would like how to change the theme/the icons of the toolbar in p.mapper( > 2.1). > I saw screenshots with the much more colouerfull icons and I would like to > get this as well. > In which file I can change this? > Hoo can help please? > Thank you! > > Reinhard > _____________________________________________________________________ > Der WEB.DE SmartSurfer hilft bis zu 70% Ihrer Onlinekosten zu sparen! > http://smartsurfer.web.de/?mc=100071&distributionid=000000000066 > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Take Surveys.
