A new version of the S/MIME Plugin for Pegasus Mail has been released.
It fixes a few smaller bugs, get the files and the Changelog from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=25458&release_id=69732
The long-awaited version 0.3.1 of the S/MIME plugin for Pegasus Mail has been released.
Important changes include:
o Bug fix for signing a message
o Support for opaque signatures
o Small bugfixes, and improvements for instkey.exe (most notably that files with Internet Explorer's default extension for PKCS#12 files, .pfx, are now listed by default in the file picker)
This new release is by far the best release ever.
It does no longer need the openssl.exe (as it is statically linked to the OpenSSL Library).
In addition, instkey.exe was improved and the documentation was updated (especially on where to get a PKCS#12 key).
Furthermore there were some internal changes to ease more feature enhancements.
The latest and greatest version of this plugin is finally available!
The most important change is the support for additional languages besides english.
Currently, only german is supported; but if anybody could translate into other languages, they are welcome.
For a more detailed list of changes, see the changelog at https://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=36125
For some strange reason, the files are not available at the files section of the project page, but only at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/pm-smime/
Version 0.2 of the S/MIME Plugin for Pegasus Mail was just released.
This version should actually work in the binary download. The previous downloads were missing an important file, but nobody of the 15 downloaders cared to tell me that.
For a detailed listing of changes, see https://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=33662
The version 0.1 of this plugin does not work and leads Pegasus Mail to a crash as soon as the plugin is called.

If you compiled the plugin yourself using the Borland Makefile, you did not have this problem.
The code for the S/MIME Plugin for Pegasus Mail is now available in CVS!
If you want to check it out, see http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=25458 for details. The module is called "pmsmime".
Note, however, that the code should be considered Alpha Quality! It may (and probably does) contain ugly bugs!
