Running cmake on a machine without wxWidgets I get: -- ERROR: wxWidgets was not found. The other drivers with missing dependencies give (for example): -- WARNING: cd.h and/or libcd.a not found. Setting PLD_cgm to OFF. Are we generating this message for wxWidgets? I'd like to change it to match the other drivers, and also because in most cases it isn't really an error. -Hazen |

Try changing find_package(wxWidgets) ==> find_package(wxWidgets QUIET) in plplot.cmake. If that works, please commit. Alan __________________________ Alan W. Hi, is this the correct way? There is a improved wxwidgets.cmake around and I will commit this to the plplot repository and change these messages. But make an error message go away by just saying to be quit is not the best way, isn't it ;) ? Werner Alan W. No. :-) The bad logic I found already convinced me the current FindwxWidgets.cmake needs fixing so please go ahead with your plan. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
