Update of /cvsroot/plplot/plplot
In directory sc8-pr-cvs1.sourceforge.net:/tmp/cvs-serv13388
Reword to avoid apologizing for API problems in previous development
releases which confused the reader about what exactly we are doing for this
release. Also note in the section for changed API since 5.3.1 that plHLS_RGB
and plRGB_HLS are now deprecated in favour of plhlsrgb and plrgbhls.

+The deprecated functions plParseOpts, plHLS_RGB, and plRGB_HLS have been
+temporarily restored into the API to make the resulting PLplot library
+backward compatible with our last stable release (5.3.1). However, since
+these functions are deprecated, they will eventually be removed from the
+API, and you should use plparseopts, plhlsrgb, and plrgbhls instead.
The soversion numbers for the different libraries in C, C++ and Fortran77,
as well as for the helper library libcsiro, are bumped to reflect the
-addition of functions in the API. Unfortunately, this has not been done
-yet in the 5.5.x series.
