Which driver are you using?
It depends on the driver. If the driver supports solid fills (most do)
then the default pattern fill style ( equivalent to calling plpsty(0)
) is a solid fill. You don't need to do anything other than call
plfill. I notice this is not really documented in the man pages. I'll
get that fixed!

The key would be to add a note that plpsty(0) is solid fill.
