I'm experiencing some strange behaviour with the boundaries of objects in
stage. Essentially what I am seeing is that the true boundary of an object
(i.e. where another object can collide with it) is different to
the rendered boundary of the object, but only if that object has not been
To replicate this behaviour run the example "everything.world", turn on View
-> Debug -> Occupancy and observe that the boundaries of the pioneer robots
and the circular "create" objects are smaller than the objects themselves
(because the boundaries are smaller, they may not be observable unless you
turn off View -> Blocks). Now try moving one of the objects and observe that
the boundaries change to the correct size. Note that the boundaries of the
pioneer's gripper and laser are always properly defined, it is only the
robots main body which is not.
Does anyone else observe this?
I'm using Stage 3.2.2. The only other version I have tested this in is Stage
2.1, in which there is no problem.
