I am trying to play around with the puck world which
says that there should be a forager.cc in examples/c++
but was unable to find so using version v1.3.3. Even
in the makefile the forager.cc and other corresponding
entries were commented out.
Does anyone have this file forager.cc which will allow
me to run the robots in puck world ?
thanks a lot

That example was removed from the distribution at some point because it
used the old GPS interface to know the robot positions, and this interface
has changed (in fact, the simulated GPS device has been removed from
Stage). The file is still in CVS, and I've attached it here for you to
This code will NOT compile as is. At the least, you'll need to:
(1) Change from the GpsProxy to the TruthProxy. Make sure your
simulated robots have truth() devices on them.
(2) Convert all the distances, angles, and speeds from millimeters and
degrees to meters and radians.
There may be more changes needed. Consult the manual for the C++ client
library for details on how to make the modifications.
Once you're done, please send me the modified file, and I'll include it as
an example in the next release.
