There is bug in the configuration scripts for the newest Player release
(1.3.2) that prevents Player from building on some machines. If make
fails while building the "acoustics" driver (cannot find gsl headers), you
must either install GSL (the GNU Scientific Library) or else disable
the acoustics driver at the configure step. E.g.:
> ./configure --disable-acoustics
> make install
Since we have also observed some runtime bugs in the acoustics and amcl
drivers (memory leaks and overconvergence, respectively), we will probably
generate a new (bugfix) release sometime next week.
