Hello, I got an error (dont really understand it). Suddenly my stage doesn't active listen on port 6665. When I start my client I get the following error message: Starting: /home/fritz/PlayerStage Projects/PlayerStageTest/build/exampleclient playerc error : connect call on [localhost:6665] failed with error [111:Connection refused] PlayerClient::Connect()(-1) : connect call on [localhost:6665] failed with error [111:Connection refused] *** Exited with return code: 255 *** Next I execute the command: "netstat --inet --tcp -lp" to check if Stage is listening and nope its not in the list. I did first start stage and then my client, stage starts up without any errors (just a few warning). I'm using ubuntu 12.04, latest player-svn and stage versions. Also I don't have any firewall running.... Hi Jan, I had a similar error the last week and it was solved activating the network interface putting 'ifconfig lo up' in the console. Hope it solve your problem 2012/11/26 Jan Stevens <jan...@gm...> > > Hello, > > I got an error (dont really understand it). Suddenly my stage doesn't > active > listen on port 6665. Thanks for your fast reply, I've done what you asked and the device is up, still doesn't work. I also noticed that even the simple examples don't work. Maybe something is wrong in my cfg/world file? Anyways the netstat --inet --tcp -lp command showed that nothing is listening on port 6665. regards, David Pinto-3 wrote: > > Hi Jan, > I had a similar error the last week and it was solved activating the > network interface putting 'ifconfig lo up' in the console. > Hope it solve your problem > -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/PlayerClient-connect-call-on-localhost%3A6665-failed-with-error-111-tp34723396p34723486.html Sent from the playerstage-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
