I'm new with player/stage and I'm trying to use the Microstrain 3dmg IMU device with the simulator...
checked the player stage website for the interfaces and the drivers...
well I added the following to the configuration code, in order to be
able to use the IMU device:
I'm not using a real IMU,I erased the port line: " port "dev/ttyUSB0"
" (USB port) or " port "dev/ttyS1" " (serial1 port)...
didnt make any changes to the world file... but ı thing that I have to
add something there, because the laser device is added there using: "
well, the configuration is working well... I
have written a program using this IMU device by reading the position
values... well, the program is made well (the "make" file is working
till now everything is going well... but when trying to use the program I have written, I'm facing a strange error:
playerc error : connect call on [localhost:6665] failed with error [111:Connection refused]
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'PlayerCc::PlayerError'
I'm opening the player, and when I try to use the program that uses the IMU device I'm getting this error...
it a lack in inclusion?? should I include another file? or should I add
something to the world file? I'm searching the player/stage filesbut
still with no answer... any ideas?

The microstrain3dmg driver can only talk to a *real* IMU; it cannot
simulate an IMU. You'd have to instantiate the appropriate simuation
model to get simulated IMU data. Stage doesn't currenly simulate an
IMU, but I believe that Gazebo does.
