[PlayerStage-Gazebo] Vibrating boxes... From: Tommy Persson - 2005-03-03 17:59:28 ```I have one flat box: 246.000 -155.000 -0.000 box 1.0 1.0 0.02 1 0 0 10.1 100.0 100.0 1e6 0.0 yes truthcarrier1 and then smaller boxes 131.0 -155.000 -0.000 box 0.07 0.07 0.07 1 1 0 0.1 0 -0 45 yes truthbox12 that I put on the flat box. The problem is that the smaller boxes vibrates (nd if the mass of the flat box is smaller ut vibrates to). Putting one small box works OK. Putting four smaller boxes on the flat box results in vibration. I might be dropping the boxes from a height (a couple of centimeters). Can I set som parameters to solve this or should I use some other approach. The idea is to place boxes on the "carrier" and then move the carrier. Can you set the world ERP and CFM? I thought that might change the behaviour. /Tommy Persson ```

If I increased the weight of the object that has contact with the ground so it is 100 times the weight of the solids placed onto it the vibrating effect disappear. So the problem seems to be that energy is inserted that does not spread or disappear in the contact with the ground. I think I will implement a solid that can be attached to the object it is in contact with. /Tommy ```
