hi, I just applied Geoff's patch to implement the new, more portable gripper interface. There are changes to player.h (obviously), along with libplayerc, libplayerc++, p2os, and stage's gripper support. It seems to work, although I haven't tested thoroughly. If you give it a try, let us know how it works. Thanks to Geoff and Co for working out the new interface. brian. |

One bit that could do with some testing is the pioneer gripper support in p2os (via a gripper interface for the paddles and an actarray interface for the lift - see the docs at the start of the driver). Our pioneers only have the arms, so I haven't been able to test the updated gripper support. If someone with a pioneer gripper could test it, that would be great.
