This is not a realistic model of some sensors (sonar for example). But so long as you bear this in mind when you write your robot controller, it doesn't do any harm. Simplified sensor models are part of the philosophy of Stage's design. Does that answer your question? If not, please give some more information about what you are doing and seeing. Richard. |
