Hi! I am using the pioneer arm 5DoF on a GuiaBot platform. It works fine, but I have some little problems: First: If I do not send a command to the arm, the servos will turn off after perhaps two minutes. I do not want that, because the gripper could fall on the ground. Secondly: The robot grips an object and want to bring it to another place. After perhaps one minute the gripper automatically open. The robot does not care whether it reaches the goal or not. It simply drops it. What could I do to solve these problems? At the moment I solve the second problem by running a thread which send the close command every 30 sec until someone send the open command. It is a hack and I do not like it ;-) Thanks for your help, Torben |
