Hi, I did make it work with Stage 2.1.0. I will be looking forward for the solution, as personally I prefer to use Stage 3.0. Many thanks, Date: Sun, 31 Aug 2008 11:47:40 +1200 From: tco...@pl... Hi, This appears to be a bug in how the stage 3 player driver is locating devices (see my post from a few days ago in the mailing list archives). Hopefully this will be resolved soon, Toby 2008/8/31 Guana Xuato <min...@ho...> Dear list members, I would like to know if you can help me to simulate a couple of sick lasersworking separately over a pioneer in Stage. I am planning to have one sick in the front and the other in the rear part of a pioneer. I have added a line with a "sicklaser()" definition as a "fancysicklaser()" instance into a "pioneer2dx" implementation of a SIMPLE.WORLD file, as: # Section of SIMPLE.WORLDpioneer2dx( # can refer to the robot by this name name "r0" pose [ -1 -1 0 45 ] sicklaser( pose [0.09 0 0 0 ] )#Line that defines another sick in the rear of the pioneer fancysicklaser( pose [-0.17 0 0 180 ] color "gray")) On the screen I can see clearly a couple of sick lasers mounted over a pioneer. Then, I have tried to generate a successful CFG file adding a new "laser" interface in the "provides" section with different index or robot port but it is not enough. As in something like this: driver( name "stage" provides ["position2d:0" "sonar:0" "laser:0" "laser:1"] provides ["6666:laser:1" ] model "r0") So far I have 2 sick lasers working at the same time by defining a new model which is not related to the pioneer robot reference. I used the following code: #Adding to .WORLD this:mysicklaser( name "sensor2" mysicklaser( pose [-0.12 -0.12 0.03 225 ] ) ) #Adding to .CFG this:driver( name "stage" provides ["6667:laser:0" ] model "sensor2" ) Many thanks in advance for your time and help.
